Why I Fought With My Wife Natasha in London – 2Baba

Veteran Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba (formerly 2Face Idibia), has spoken candidly about mistakes he has made in both his professional career and personal life.

ImoTimes reports that the music icon made the revelation while appearing as a guest on the Mic On podcast, where he reflected on past decisions and experiences he wishes he had handled differently.

The father of six admitted that there are moments in his life he regrets and choices he would change if given the opportunity, particularly those influenced by heightened emotions.

During the interview, 2Baba also addressed a widely reported incident in London involving a confrontation with his wife, Natasha Osawaru, which led to his arrest in October 2025.

Taking full responsibility for the incident, the singer described it as an unfortunate situation that escalated due to anger.

I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” the singer said.

He went on to discuss the pressures that often come with personal and professional life, noting that such challenges have tested him and taught him valuable lessons over time.

Reflecting further, 2Baba acknowledged that emotional strain can sometimes cloud judgment, adding that he now recognizes the need for greater restraint and self-awareness.

There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better. As a human being, there are times when you are overwhelmed or don’t make the best decisions. My thick-skin is weaker now,” he said.
